Opportunities

How to join the group, do a thesis project, or visit for a research internship.

Current status

No open hiring calls

We do not currently have open PhD, postdoc, research assistant, or funded student positions. When we do, they will be advertised publicly.

Students and visitors

Theses, internships, and praktik

We sometimes receive requests for bachelor or master thesis projects, research internships, or Swedish praktik. We can only consider these when the setup is formal and funded.

Funding first

No unfunded visits

We cannot host unpaid or unfunded thesis visitors or interns. Before contacting us, you need a realistic funding route: salary, a scholarship, an Erasmus+ traineeship grant, or equivalent support that covers your stay and insurance.

What formal means

  • You are enrolled in a bachelor or master programme, and the project is connected to your degree or course requirements.
  • Your home university can approve the thesis, internship, or praktik arrangement and any required agreement.
  • Your funding, insurance, dates, and supervision expectations are clear before the project starts.

Getting in touch

Before you write

If you have a concrete funded route and a strong research fit, a short focused email is enough.
